First MLB game: 1958 / Cleveland Municipal Stadium. One of my dad’s foreman's had a son who was a die-hard Yankee fan and he would take me along with them to Cleveland, courtesy of Greyhound bus passes my dad could get since he ran the bus maintenance garage for them.  We’d leave right after school, spend 4-5 hours on the bus before and after the game, whenever the Yankees played at the old rockpile.

First MLB game: July 3, 1966 / Candlestick Park.

A record setting day when Braves pitcher Tony Cloninger led a 17-3 massacre of our Giants with two grand slam home runs and 9 RBIs. The Sunday family outing was Jack's first MLB game since returning from his year in Viet Nam. He was 29, I was 28, son Mike was 8 and daughters Barb (6) and Pam (5). A memorable sunny first Major League game for four of the Kohn family.

First MLB game: I have no idea. My grandparents were Angels boosters, so I've been going to Angel Stadium longer than I can remember. But I have great memories of going to Palm Springs for Spring Training every year. So let's go with Palm Spring Stadium, 1979 or 1980.

Favorite player(s) all-time: Willie Mays and Mickey Mantle

Favorite team(s): San Francisco Giants (NL) / Oakland A's (AL)

First MLB game:  1959 / Seal Stadium.

RF bleachers with two San Jose State classmates who knew the ropes.  Being now 22, I was old enough to participate in the bleacher ritual which allowed us to bring our own beer into the seats. (No beer was sold in that area.) We each brought 9 brews so we would have a beer for each inning.  I kept pace for six innings before nature made me take a walk.....final consumption was Jack 7, my comrades 9 each.  They ragged me during the 50-mile trip home (I wasn't driving.) My bladder was now ready for major league beer appreciation!

Favorite team:

First MLB game: 1978 / Candlestick Park - San Francisco.

Parents took me for my 9th birthday. Giants defeated San Diego 7-5 and Willie McCovey hit a home run. The home run, and the Giants victory, was pretty much all I remember.
